If you're on the hunt for fresh and interesting gadgets to purchase, you can't go wrong with Best Buy and its constantly growing catalog of products. You can find many recently released devices on the retailer's website, often almost as soon as they launched. We've gathered our top picks in this roundup so that you won't have to do the searching yourself.
We've selected 10 new electronics at Best Buy to look out for this September. Among them are a powerful handheld gaming PC, a portable instant camera that's easy to carry anywhere, affordable-yet-solid wireless earbuds with noise cancellation, and an electric toothbrush with a built-in camera.
Most of the products that we've featured here haven't received a significant number of customer ratings on the platform, as they're relatively new. To make sure that these gadgets are worth buying, we'll highlight shopper comments when substantial, but we'll mostly focus on insights from the reviews of trustworthy websites and channels.
The Oura Ring 5, which started shipping in June 2026, is the latest version of the popular smart ring. The device already has more than 800 ratings and an average score of 4.8 stars on Best Buy, with a price that starts at $399. Among the things you need to know before buying an Oura Ring 5, however, is that the gadget is just half the cost; the Oura Membership costs $5.99 per month, or $69.99 per year.
We concede in our review of the Oura Ring 5 that the wearable device and the subscription are expensive. However, we also noted it as the best smart ring you can buy outside of the Samsung Galaxy Ring for Samsung phone owners. It's comfortable to wear 24/7, its battery can last up to eight days between charges, and it has the best sleep and recovery analysis among all fitness trackers.
Best Buy shoppers confirm that the slimmer design of the smart ring improved its comfort, and that it's accurate in monitoring a wide range of health metrics. PCMag added in its review that the Oura app is intuitive, as you instantly see important data when you open it, and extra information is just a tap away.
The MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ is one of the newest handheld gaming consoles, as it was just launched in June 2026. Gizmodo described the device as "the best handheld PC," as it combines powerful performance with high efficiency, but only for those who are willing to pay a relatively expensive price. Best Buy is selling it for $1,799.99, which Gizmodo said can already get you a decent gaming PC, but if you want an elite experience in playing video games while on the go, this machine is one of the top choices on the market.
PCMag said that the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ is "the fastest, most efficient Windows gaming handheld," and a look at its specifications reveals why it deserves that title. It runs on the Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor with Intel Arc Graphics, 12 Xe-Cores, and 32GB of RAM, which allow the device to play AAA games at their most demanding settings. The console's 8-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate will let you appreciate modern graphics to the fullest, while a 1TB SSD ensures quick loading times. Both Gizmodo and PCMag said that the gadget is comfortable to hold, and that its battery can last up to about three hours when playing intensive titles.
We identified Sennheiser as one of the over-ear headphones brands that have comparable audio quality to Bose, and the Sennheiser Momentum 5 Wireless is an excellent example. Released in June 2026, the device has received an average score of 4.8 stars on Best Buy after more than 50 ratings, with shoppers loving the headphones' stylish looks, comfortable fit, and impressive sound quality. The gadget also offers Bluetooth, USB-C, and a mini jack as connectivity options for wide compatibility. Available for $399.99, customers recommend the Sennheiser Momentum 5 Wireless as a great option for those looking at buying headphones within this price range.
SoundGuys' testing noted that these Sennheiser wireless headphones offer solid noise cancellation, a decent transparency mode, and a microphone array with wind screens for clear phone calls. The review also noted that the device can last a long time because of its user-replaceable battery. The headphones are rated to last up to 57 hours on a single charge with ANC activated, but if that number starts going down, you have the option of easily installing a new battery cell yourself to make the Sennheiser Momentum 5 Wireless feel new again.
Film cameras are popular again, and the Polaroid Go Gen 3 is among the newest devices to ride the trend. Launched in June 2026, you can purchase the instant camera for $89.99 on Best Buy. Polaroid said it's the "smallest instant camera in the world," with measurements of 3.3 inches by 2.4 inches by 4.1 inches. It's recommended by In An Instant as the entry-level option for those who are thinking of venturing into instant photography, though the review said that the camera will reward more skilled photographers who know how to frame their shots.
In An Instant highlighted the differences between the Polaroid Go Gen 3 and its predecessor, including the new face and button configuration, as well as the updated viewfinder that's easier to see through. The most significant change, however, is that this model takes clearer and sharper photos.
The camera keeps functions found in previous generations though, such as the self-timer, the option to turn off the flash before each photo, and double exposure mode that lets you shoot creative pictures without the need for editing software. The gadget recharges through a USB-C port, and it uses Polaroid Go film that costs $21.99 for 16 shots.
Released in July 2026, the Nothing Ear (3a) wireless earbuds are feature-packed but affordable, as they're only $99 if you get them from Best Buy. According to 9to5Google, not only are they the best option at this price, but they're also better than many other wireless earbuds that cost double. This is because of their excellent sound quality, a transparent aesthetic that's the Nothing brand's trademark, and long battery life that matches their rating of 10 hours per charge (and a total of 42 hours with their charging case).
These Nothing wireless earbuds also offer active noise cancellation and transparency, which can both be considered decent, according to TechRadar. This is a nice bonus for a pair that you can buy for less than $100. The review also highlights the Call Recording and Audio Snapshot features, which will allow you to save up to two hours of audio from calls and up to one minute of media on the wireless earbuds' onboard storage.
Insta360 is a major player in the popularization of 360-degree videos, and the brand just launched its latest flagship device in August 2026. The Insta360 X6, which you can purchase from Best Buy for $699.99, is capable of recording 360 videos at 8K resolution and 50 frames per second. Digital Camera World's review highlighted the device's larger image sensors compared to its predecessor, which results in improved quality for both photos and videos, as well as its more compact design that makes it easier to wield in action-packed situations like surfing and snowboarding. The camera is protected from the elements without the need for any additional cases, as it has an IP68 waterproof rating that allows it to submerge up to a depth of 65 feet.
According to Trusted Reviews, this Insta360 camera is "the most complete 360 camera" with its all-around image quality, as well as lengthy battery life. Its 2600mAh Xtreme battery is rated to last up to 140 minutes while recording 8K/30fps footage, and Trusted Reviews confirmed this at 136 minutes during testing. The camera also features replaceable lenses, so you won't have to spend hundreds of dollars on a new one when the inevitable scratch happens.
The Google Pixel 11 Pro XL, the largest model in Google's current generation of flagship smartphones that just launched in August 2026, is already available on Best Buy starting at $1,299 for the unlocked version. Along with 256GB of storage, one of its most prominent upgrades from its predecessor is the Google Tensor G6, which not only delivers extremely smooth performance, but also makes the phone an excellent vessel for Gemini AI, according to PCMag.
The review also highlighted the device's durability with an IP68 resistance rating and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and its bright and colorful 6.8-inch OLED screen. CNET's review showcased the capabilities of the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL's cameras, which utilize Gemini AI. Its telephoto zoom allows for up to 120x magnification, but anything more than 30x zoom will use generative AI to augment a clear image of what you're trying to take a photo of from afar.
Another feature is Magic Capture, which takes short videos then uses AI to pick the best frames. This is helpful when taking action shots, such as a skateboarder hitting a ramp as CNET's example, as you'll get the perfect photo for such situations.
If there was any appliance brand that would think of installing a camera in a toothbrush, it would be Dyson, which also thought of equipping a cordless vacuum with a laser to see dust particles. Rolled out in September 2026, the Dyson CameraJet is an electric toothbrush with an AI-powered camera that analyzes 28 images per second, then shoots a conical jet of mouth rinse at plaque that it identifies between your teeth.
Tom's Guide said that the device's engineering is impressive, as it accurately targets plaque while you're moving the toothbrush and its brush head is oscillating. While it's expensive at $499.99, no other device can deliver the teeth cleanliness that it promises without changing much about your brushing habits.
It takes time to get used to the sprays of the Dyson CameraJet, according to TechRadar, but the review said that the device becomes comfortable to use after a while. Its battery lasts up to eight hours on a full charge through USB-C, though that will depend on your choice between three intensity settings. It also mentioned that the MyDyson app not only shows a livestream of the inside of your mouth, but it also delivers guided sessions to make sure that you're able to thoroughly clean your teeth each time.
In our ranking of major Bluetooth speaker brands, JBL sits near the top partly because of its innovative products, and the JBL Pulse 6 is the latest example with a September 2026 release. For $329.95 on Best Buy, you'll get a gadget that combines high-quality sound with a 360-degree light show that synchronizes with your music.
As demonstrated in Flossy Carter's review, you'll be able to choose between various light themes through the JBL One app or by pressing a button at the side of the device. You'll also be able to make the speaker play different mood sounds through the app, such as fire or rain to go with the light themes of a campfire or storm, respectively.
Flossy Carter said that the JBL Pulse 6's handle, which also has built-in lights, is a nice change from the strap of the JBL Pulse 5 as it makes the device easier to carry. You can also double-tap the handle to transform the Bluetooth speaker into a bedside lamp, and you can adjust its brightness and color temperature in the app. The device can run up to 12 hours before it needs to recharge through its USB-C port, and it maintains JBL's trademark ruggedness with IP68 waterproof and dustproof protection.
Freshly announced at Apple's "Surprise and Shine" event in September 2026, the Apple Watch Ultra 4 has arrived on Best Buy with a starting price of $799. The gadget has the same bright and beautiful screen as its predecessor, but the change to the the S11 chip makes performance smoother while enabling Siri AI features.
One of the most useful functions as highlighted by Tom's Guide is Live Rewind, which continuously records 15 seconds of audio. If you need to listen to the past several seconds for any reason, such as if you zoned out when you were supposed to be listening to something, just double-tap the smartwatch's digital crown.
The battery life of the Apple Watch Ultra 4 is one of its biggest improvements, as it's rated to last for up to 50 hours with regular use, and up to 84 hours if you activate Low Power Mode. You'll also get up to 18 hours of usage after just 15 minutes of charging. The wearable device's Health Sensing System, however, is its most notable upgrade, according to Men's Health. These new sensors make its health data collection more potent. For example, the gadget collects heart rate data every five seconds, compared to every five minutes in previous generations of the smartwatch.
The new electronics that we've included in this article are only three months old at most, as they have release dates of June 2026 or later. They're all available for purchase on Best Buy's website, for wide accessibility to shoppers.
To support our selections in this article, we didn't only showcase on the features of the products. We also referred to the thoughts of professional reviewers, as well as feedback from the retailer's customers in cases where the product has received at least 50 ratings.
