A bug in iPadOS 26 is preventing users from typing on the iPad mini's floating keyboard.

Another day, another bug related to Apple's new iOS and iPadOS 26 launch.
Typing on the floating keyboard on the new iPad Mini 7th generation is currently very difficult.
In some apps, like the App Store, the floating keyboard shakes constantly, which prevents typing. While the problem does not affect every app, it can be frustrating when it does occur.
Some keyboard functions are also not working correctly. For instance, when a user presses and holds the "." key to access website extensions like ".com" or ".net," the keyboard zooms in, making it impossible to select an option.
This is the second most irritating issue found in Apple's recent releases. The most significant problem has been AirDrop failing between an iPhone 17 and a MacBook when attempting to transfer many video and photo samples for reviews.
Additionally, several team members have reported significant performance slowdowns on their MacBooks after the MacOS Tahoe update. MacBook Pro fans are running even when only a browser is open, and MacBook Airs are operating more slowly.
Hopefully, Apple will address these problems quickly.
