A future iOS update may address unexplained battery drain issues on iPhones.

Apple has revamped the Battery screen in iOS 26 with smart alerts and new tools that highlight unusual power usage, making it easier than ever to spot — and stop — apps draining your battery.
A graph now compares your battery usage to typical levels, highlighting apps or systems with abnormal drain. A new orange design will also appear to notify users of possible problems.
This feature is designed to assist you with unexpected iPhone battery drain issues. Previously, users had to either close multiple apps or check the Battery settings screen to diagnose the cause.
I am enjoying iOS 26 thus far. This minor adjustment is a welcome addition that will be helpful, and it makes me appreciate Apple's work on this update.
