A government agency has revealed new information about the upcoming Galaxy Z TriFold.

Samsung is gearing up for the release of the TriFold.
Samsung is expected to be the first major manufacturer to launch a phone with a triple-folding design, though the initial release is expected to be very limited. There is some uncertainty regarding which markets will receive the device. In October, Evan Blass reported the phone would be released in South Korea, China, Singapore, Taiwan, and the UAE. Bluetooth SIG implied it would also be available in the US and possibly some European countries.
According to The Elec, Samsung will initially manufacture only 20,000 to 30,000 units, but could increase production if the device is well-received.
The advanced TriFold phone could cost around $3,000. A low-key launch would reduce the impact of any malfunctions, as happened with the original Fold, and allow Samsung to address any problems discreetly.
