A new Android malware steals banking information and secretly records the user's screen.

A newly discovered Trojan called Sturnus can capture your decrypted messages, fake your banking login screens, and more.
The Sturnus malware can pilfer banking app login information by presenting fraudulent login screens that appear legitimate. When users enter their credentials on these fake screens, the data is sent to the cybercriminals controlling the virus.
The discovery of Sturnus is positive. Now that it has been identified, Google is likely improving Android's protection against it.
Keep your phone updated. Google frequently releases security updates and may soon issue one to address this malware. Avoid clicking on suspicious links in texts, emails, or on unfamiliar websites. This can prevent significant problems.
