A new, heavy phone with a heat vision camera and large battery is rumored to be connected to the iPhone 16.

The Ulefone Armor 29 Pro Thermal has a ton of useful stuff on it.
Ulefone's 29 Pro Thermal features a 6.67-inch AMOLED main screen with 1080 x 2400 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There is also a 1.04-inch AMOLED sub-display on the rear with 340 x 340 resolution and 600-nit brightness.
Weighing 688 grams, the handset is quite heavy, but its IP68 and IP69K ratings provide water and dust resistance, giving it a durable feel.
The phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 2 TB using a microSD card. While not as fast as phones using a Snapdragon 8 Elite, its processing power is adequate for a rugged phone.
It operates on Android 15 and is equipped with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BEIDOU, QZSS, and a digital compass for navigation. It also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The battery has a 21,200mAh capacity (equivalent to 10,600mAh, 7.74V) and is a built-in lithium-ion polymer type. With 120W fast charging and 10W wired reverse charging via USB Type-C, it provides up to 1140 hours of standby time and 114 hours of talk time.
The camera system includes a 50 MP main rear camera, a 64 MP night vision camera, and a 50 MP ultra wide-angle camera, along with a 50 MP front-facing camera. Similar to the iPhone 16, this rugged phone has a Camera Control button on the side.
While some phones are focused on being thin, the Ulefone is not. It is a thick, rugged phone designed for users who need a thermal camera without renting one. The price will be announced soon.
"Iconic Phones: Revolution at Your Fingertips," a coffee table book, will be released in a few months. It explores the technological revolution of the 21st century and is a must-have for tech enthusiasts.
