A small Google design change on the Pixel 10 Pro XL may negatively impact landscape videos.

A small speaker and mic switch on the Pixel 10 Pro XL is causing big frustrations for right-handed users trying to record in landscape.
The latest Pixel 10 has a design alteration: the bottom speaker and microphone have switched locations. According to Artem Russakovskii, this change moves the microphone to the left side of the phone.
This relocation could cause right-handed users to accidentally cover the microphone with their palm while recording videos in landscape mode. Consequently, the audio quality of recorded videos may be affected.
Russakovskii shared an image on X showing the new speaker and microphone arrangement in landscape orientation. While this design change may not be a major issue, users may adapt over time, especially since most videos are now filmed in portrait mode for social media.
