Apple has added the Apple Watch Series 3 to its list of vintage products, along with the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Both devices are crossing the mark, and while you can still get them repaired, Apple is slowly phasing out support.
Apple considers a product "vintage" when it stopped selling it more than five years, but less than seven years, prior. The company provides service and parts for these vintage products for a period of up to seven years, contingent on part availability.
The Apple Watch Series 3 remained available as a budget-friendly choice until Apple discontinued it in 2022, giving it a longer lifespan than the iPhone 11 Pro Max.
With the iPhone 17 series now available, older iPhones are now considered vintage, which is logical. Apple's extended support and repair services are notable in the industry, but it cannot maintain iPhones indefinitely.
