Apple has officially discontinued its lesser-known Clips app, marking the quiet end of an experiment that never quite found its audience.
When Clips was initially released, it appeared to be a useful application. It allowed users to make videos from smaller clips, with a total duration of 60 minutes and up to 300 individual segments.
Many apps are available for smartphones, but only some become popular. The author has never used the app, preferring CapCut or Instagram's video editing tools for social media posts.
