Apple has removed the initial beta version of iOS 26.2 from some iPhones, potentially preventing its installation.

The first developer beta of iOS 26.2 has quietly disappeared for devices with the C1 modem.
Not all users who wanted to try the new features were immediately successful. Some attempting to update to iOS 26.2 developer beta 1 experienced installation problems.
Oddly, the update is still showing as available for these users. However, installation attempts are unsuccessful. This may be due to Apple removing the update because of issues that could disrupt cellular network access.
