Greg Joswiak, Apple's SVP of Worldwide Marketing, posted a message on X that alluded to a forthcoming MacBook Pro. The image accompanying the text displayed what appeared to be a sky-blue MacBook Pro, similar to a color previously used on the MacBook Air.
The shape of the laptop in the image formed a "V," the Roman numeral for five, hinting at the M5 chip. Bloomberg has reported that the base M5 MacBook Pro model may arrive as early as this week. Upgraded M5 Pro and M5 Max versions are expected in 2026.
A new Apple silicon chip is always noteworthy. Apple's chips have consistently led in performance and efficiency. The M5 MacBook Pro could offer creative professionals faster video rendering, enhanced graphic design capabilities, and more advanced audio production.
