Apple is adding 11 new features to the next iOS update.

iOS 26 is now available to download for all supported iPhones. Here are the top new features it brings.
Many users did not like the Photos app in iOS 18. Apple has since improved it, and iOS 26 will include Library and Collections options that are easy to view. Found at the bottom of the app, the two tabs will help users navigate the interface and locate photos more easily.
Arriving with iOS 26 on the iPhone 15 Pro and later, Adaptive Power Mode is powered by Apple Intelligence. It learns user behavior and modifies the phone's battery usage to conserve power. The feature can determine how much power an app is allowed to use, and make sure the battery lasts longer when necessary. It can also change display brightness to maximize battery life.
Visual Intelligence can now be used with screenshots on iOS 26. For instance, if an event with a date is on the screen, the option to add it to a calendar should be displayed. However, searching isn't as thorough as Google's Circle to Search, although progress is being made.
Users can now select how long to snooze an alarm for. Previously, the only option was nine minutes, but now users can choose anywhere from one to fifteen minutes.
