Apple might remove a feature from the iPhone Fold to reintroduce a popular element.
You’ll be able to unlock the foldable iPhone more easily and enjoy two cameras on its back.
A new leak suggests the iPhone Fold will be released in the latter half of 2026, at the same time as the second iPhone Air and the iPhone 18 Pro models. A report from Korea stated Apple had adjusted its plans and the foldable iPhone is scheduled for release in 2027.
Touch ID is preferable for a foldable device.
While Face ID is ideal for standard smartphones, a fingerprint scanner in the side button is better for foldable devices. This allows users to unlock the device the same way, no matter which display is in use.
