AT&T is experiencing service outages affecting mobile phones and internet.

DownDetector reports a surge in complaints from AT&T subscribers.
Downdetector has received reports regarding AT&T service in various cities.
Earlier today, SuddenLink investigated an issue causing subscribers to receive busy signals when calling AT&T customers. SuddenLink stated that no other carriers were affected. More recently, some AT&T customers reported internet outages to Downdetector, and AT&T wireless users reported issues with their mobile phone service.
One AT&T wireless customer, Stephen Fischer, said, "Phone issue in San Tan Valley AZ yet again."
Downdetector's website states that it reports an incident "when the number of problem reports is significantly higher than the typical volume for that time of day." A quick return to typical numbers may suggest a minor outage with limited impact.
After complaints decreased for AT&T at 7:20 pm ET, they have risen again to 427, compared to a baseline of 73. On August 30th, Verizon had a nationwide outage, and Downdetector received over 23,000 complaints from Verizon customers.
This situation will continue to be monitored, and this article will be updated with any changes.
