Essential's Nothing Space app now has a feature to help users remember conversations.

Nothing is launching Call Recording for some of its phones.
Call Recording is now available on Essential Space.
To record calls, users can long-press the Essential Key. The recorded calls are saved to Essential Space, accompanied by a text transcript and an AI-generated summary that highlights the main topics. The feature will be automatically enabled without requiring a manual update.
Availability is limited to the Phone (3), Phone (3a), and Phone (3a) Pro models. It is currently unclear if older devices or CMF phones will receive the feature.
Initially, Call Recording will be accessible in the UK, India, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Nothing plans to expand availability to additional countries in the near future.
Nothing previously released a call recording widget last year, which raised some legal concerns. The current announcement does not specify whether call participants will be notified about the recording.
While the ability to record calls and access them in text format is appealing, some users have expressed concern about the potential for conversations to be recorded and analyzed by AI without their consent. It may be prudent to assume that all conversations could be recorded and processed by AI.
