Germany has ruled that Apple's claim of a carbon-neutral Apple Watch is inaccurate.

Apple utilizes clean power in the production of the Apple Watch. The company also incorporates 30% renewable materials and avoids air shipment for half of the devices to lower carbon emissions.

Apple reports that these efforts have reduced product emissions by 75%. The business states that it uses "high-quality carbon credits" to offset the remaining emissions.
