As teased at the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, Regulation Set M-C is set to run in Pokémon Champions from Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Pokémon that were eligible for Ranked Battles in previous regulation sets remain eligible, and they’ll be joined by powerful new contenders like Mega Salamence, Mega Golisopod, and Mega Baxcalibur. Pokémon Champions also sees Z Mega Evolutions Mega Absol Z, Mega Garchomp Z, and Mega Lucario Z joining the fray!

Pokémon that were eligible for Ranked Battles in previous regulation sets remain eligible, and they’ll be joined by powerful new contenders like Mega Salamence, Mega Golisopod, and Mega Baxcalibur.
Pokémon Champions also sees Z Mega Evolutions Mega Absol Z, Mega Garchomp Z, and Mega Lucario Z joining the fray! Following the update, along with the six added Mega Evolutions, there will be 24 Pokémon newly available for battle, including ones that have made an impact in past VGC tournaments, like Rillaboom.
