Google Home Gets Big Voice Update With Several Improvements - Droid Life

Google is rolling out a fresh update to Google Home and Gemini for Home this week, bringing with it improved voice assistant controls for several items (like Spotify), as well as consistent temperature units, live stream HD resolution fixes on Android, and more. As always, Google issues these updates by providing a really clear breakdown for which improvements and features are here for either Gemini for Home or Google Home. In the Gemini for Home space, voices controls over Spotify media selection, color temperature changes for your lights, and broadcasts throughout your home are all improved.

As always, Google issues these updates by providing a really clear breakdown for which improvements and features are here for either Gemini for Home or Google Home.
In the Gemini for Home space, voices controls over Spotify media selection, color temperature changes for your lights, and broadcasts throughout your home are all improved. Spotify should now better understand artist names and the playlists you are requesting with less confusion. On lights, you can be as specific as asking for “making the living lights 2700 kelvins.” And then for broadcast messages, you can now tell Google you want to broadcast and it’ll then wait for a second command that is the message – previously you had to do this all in one effort.
For Google Home, Google is adding latch control for European-style smart locks, more consistent temperature units throughout the app, a fix for low 360p streaming on Android, and then several fixes for iOS-related bugs (you’ll find them all below)
Avoid interruptions to your subscription: To help ensure your home stays protected without interruption, you’ll now see a clear alert in the app if your payment fails. This makes it easy to update your billing info before you lose your camera history or other features.
