Google is giving Pixel 6 and 7 users lower priority.

Despite being supported, the Pixel 6 and 7 didn't get the November update.
The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro were not included in the latest November software release, which suggests Google may be changing its update priorities.
This is notable because Google is known for providing monthly updates to its Pixel devices.
When asked about potential changes to the frequency of Pixel 6 updates, Google responded that supported devices would continue to receive security updates, Pixel Feature Drops, and the latest operating system versions for the duration of their support period.
Google has stated that Pixel phones will remain secure throughout their support windows, with details available online. Devices will be protected via Pixel-specific patches, Google Play System Updates, and Android Security Bulletin fixes. Users can also expect improvements through regular Pixel Drops and OS updates during the device's supported lifespan.
Although Pixel 6 and 7 phones are guaranteed five years of updates, the update schedule has not been specified. Google has the flexibility to adjust the timing of these updates.
This differs from previous expectations, as consistent updates have been a selling point for Pixel phones, highlighting Google's control over both hardware and software.
While the November update was recently released, it is unlikely to be available for Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 users, as these devices are not listed on Google's update page. However, some November Pixel Drop features may be compatible with Pixel 6 and later models, so these devices have not been entirely overlooked and could receive these features in December.
