Google released an update for its Pixel 6 and 7 phones.

After failing to include the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 lines with the monthly November update, there is a new update that includes the pair.
Android 16 QPR2 Beta 3.3 is rolling out to the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel 9a, Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Pixel Tablet devices. The update can be found by navigating to Settings > System > Software update > System update, then following the prompts to download and install.
The Pixel 6 series will receive build BP41.250916.015, while the Pixel 7 series and newer will get build BP41.250916.015.A1. This Android 16 QPR2 Beta 3.3 version includes the October security patch. It resolves a Pixel lock screen issue that would cause freezing and unresponsiveness (Issue #457527675). Those already participating in the Android 16 QPR2 Beta program will automatically get QPR2 Beta 3 and subsequent beta updates unless they opt out.
If you're interested in joining the Beta program, even with the stable Android 16 QPR2 release expected soon, you can visit the Android Beta program website and select "View your eligible devices." This will take you to a page displaying your Pixel model, where you can opt-in to the beta program.
After opting in, check for the update as described earlier and install it. Once the stable Android 16 QPR2 arrives, you can leave the Beta program without losing your phone's data. Alternatively, you can stay in the Beta program to receive beta updates for the March 2026 Pixel Feature Drop.
