Google's "Circle to Search" feature is getting an update that helps users find more comprehensive answers.

If you use Circle to Search, and aren't happy with the first response, a UI change will make it easier to get the whole answer.
Currently, users enter follow-up questions in the search bar after conducting a search. Google is now testing an AI enhancement to the Circle to Search feature. The company is testing an AI Mode that appears with the search results, including an AI Overview describing the circled content and a search bar at the bottom for follow-up questions.
A key feature is that the search responses remain visible when AI Mode is active. This allows users to review the initial search results, aiding them in formulating relevant follow-up questions. Below the AI-generated description, the search bar prompts users to "Ask anything."
This new Circle to Search AI feature seems to be included with the latest Google app beta, version 16.47. It is present on a Pixel 6 Pro running the newest Android 16 QPR2 Beta update, though many Android users do not yet have access to it. The Google app version on the device is 16.47.49.
Placing the search bar at the bottom should improve accessibility for users who use large-screened phones. To check if the updated Circle to Search is available, initiate a search and observe the results.
