Intel hasn't confirmed the naming convention for the Nova Lake lineup yet, but the leaks do point to the use of Core Ultra 4000 naming.
The next-gen Intel processors will have a common naming convention for all of its variants.
Several leaks and reliable reports have confirmed that Intel will utilize the "Core Ultra 4000" naming convention for some of the upcoming Nova Lake processor families. We have seen the naming convention appear in popular hardware monitoring tool releases. Moreover, we have seen early engineering samples appear on various platforms with the same naming convention.
AIDA64 is among the latest pieces of evidence that confirm the use of Core Ultra 4000 for Nova Lake chips. Now, the prominent leaker @jaykihn0 has confirmed that this naming convention will be extended to other families as well and won't just include the desktop variants. Up until now, we expected that Intel would be using two naming conventions for Nova Lake.
The same leaker previously said that Intel will utilize the Core Ultra "4000" naming scheme for desktop Nova Lake-S and laptop Nova Lake-HX high-performance processors. However, the mobile Nova Lake-H and slower variants without the suffix will carry the Core Ultra "400" naming scheme. In a recent tweet, when asked about whether Intel will use Core Ultra 4000 for all the Nova Lake families, he replied affirmatively.
Retracting this. Sorry all!
