It's unclear whether OnePlus has ended its partnership with Hasselblad or simply rebranded it as DetailMax Engine.
Meanwhile, Oppo has extended its collaboration with Hasselblad.
OnePlus community member Andy UK commented in September 2025 that because Oppo is maintaining its partnership, DetailMax appears to be a branding change rather than a technological one. Andy UK added that it would not be surprising if OnePlus is licensing white-labeled Hasselblad technology, allowing Hasselblad to continue to profit.
