Leaked images suggest the iPhone 17 Pro will have a significant design overhaul that goes beyond just the camera area.

Someone who works at an accessories company has revealed the changes coming to the iPhone 17 Pro's front.
A new rumor suggests the iPhone 17 Pro could feature a Dynamic Island that is 25 percent smaller. The information comes from an X user, @that_one_g3, who claims to work at a company that manufactures iPhone screen protectors.
The Dynamic Island, which replaced the notch in 2022, has remained the same size since its introduction. It functions as an interactive interface, changing shape to display alerts and other information.
Since Apple has yet to integrate Face ID under the display, reducing the size of the Dynamic Island is one way to increase the screen's usable area. According to the X user, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will have a Dynamic Island width of 1.5cm, reduced from 2cm on current models, according to MacRumors.
Photos shared by the source show a smaller black cutout, but the 25 percent reduction may not be immediately noticeable.
Initial rumors suggested Apple would use metalens technology for the Face ID system to reduce the size of the Dynamic Island. These lenses are more compact than traditional lenses.
Later leaks indicated that the Dynamic Island's size would remain unchanged, with a revamped user interface being the only expected change for the iPhone 17 series.
This new information arrives before the September 9 "Awe Dropping" event, where the iPhone 17 lineup is expected to be unveiled.
The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to have an edge-to-edge camera bar. This, combined with a smaller Dynamic Island and potentially thinner bezels, may result in a visibly different design compared to the iPhone 16 Pro.
With major AI updates from Apple unlikely this year, a redesigned look could shift the focus and provide a positive change for the company.
