Motorola's Edge 70, a reportedly thin and durable phone, has leaked despite its expected 2026 release.

Motorola's next big "vanilla" Edge mid-ranger looks absolutely stunning in an eye-catching green-and-yellow combination in a newly leaked high-quality promotional image.
Motorola is known for making attractive devices that offer good specs at very competitive prices.
The upcoming mid-range Edge 70 should continue this trend, although its specifications and features are not yet confirmed. While it's not certain to be an affordable mid-range phone, its name clearly connects it to this year's Edge 60.
The Motorola Edge 70 appears more striking than its predecessor, featuring a vibrant green color (validated by Pantone), yellow accents around the rear camera lenses, and a new side button.
This is probably the same AI Key as on the Edge 60 Pro (but not the standard Edge 60), indicating Motorola's commitment to improving the AI capabilities of its most affordable phones.
The Edge 70's design suggests it will cost more than $200 or $250, but its price should be lower than other ultra-thin devices. The Edge 60 is 7.9mm thick, and while the Edge 70 likely won't match the Galaxy S25 Edge's 5.8mm thickness, a thickness of around 7mm would be impressive if the phone is affordable.
The Edge 60 has IP68, IP69, and MIL-STD-810H certifications, and the Edge 70 is expected to maintain or improve upon these durability ratings while reducing bulk.
This is likely the first in a series of Edge 70 devices expected to be revealed over the next six months, following the pattern of the Edge 60, Edge 60 Pro, Edge 60 Fusion, Edge 60 Stylus, and the US-specific Edge (2025).
It's unlikely that any Edge 70 models will be released by the end of 2025, but it is possible.
Given the absence of an Ultra model in the Edge 60 lineup, Motorola might release an Edge 70 Ultra to compete with the Galaxy S25 Edge, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra.
For now, this is only speculation, pending further information.
