Motorola's latest Moto G phone features a large 7,000mAh battery and is very affordable.

Also, a super-confusing name, but the positives clearly outweigh the negatives on the Moto G100... 2025 edition.

The Moto G100 (2025) addresses concerns about battery capacity in Motorola's Moto G Power series with its substantial 7,000mAh battery.
Despite having a 2,000mAh larger battery than the Moto G Power (2025), the two phones have similar dimensions. The G100 is only 0.1mm thinner, an achievement due to a new silicon-carbon battery material, also utilized in the Moto G86 Power (6,720mAh) and OnePlus 13 (6,000mAh).
Launched in China alongside the Moto X70 Air, this Moto G series phone is priced at approximately $195 for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage model.
This pricing is competitive for the Chinese market, but its availability in Europe or the US at a similar price is uncertain.
A US release is unlikely, while a European release may happen in the coming months for around €300 ($345) or more.
It is unclear if Motorola will maintain the name and if the China-first Moto G100 with its 7,000mAh battery will influence the global Moto G Power (2026).
Many of Motorola's notable phones are unavailable in the US.
Imagine this phone, featuring a large battery, capable processor, decent charging, and smooth display, being available for $300 in the US, or the Moto X70 Air for around $500.
It would rival Samsung's Galaxy A series, but this seems unlikely in the near future.
