OnePlus 15 benchmarks suggest the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 will be very powerful.

Another OnePlus 15 test shows up on Geekbench, but this time the results are impressive.
The OnePlus 15 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, tests indicate, with standard clock speeds of 4.61 GHz. Benchmark data was obtained using Android 16 on a device equipped with 16GB of RAM.
Other companies will also utilize Qualcomm's forthcoming flagship chipset. The Xiaomi 17, in prior Geekbench testing, achieved similar scores to the OnePlus 15.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is anticipated to power upcoming flagship devices from Vivo and Oppo. Samsung may incorporate it into the Galaxy S26 series, although reports suggest the Galaxy S26 Ultra could use the Exynos 2600.
The OnePlus 15 is emerging as a very interesting flagship. It is expected to launch in China soon, with a US release in early 2026. In addition to a top-tier chipset, it is rumored to have a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, as well as a 7,000 mAh battery supporting 120W wired charging.
OnePlus may reduce costs by focusing on performance and offering the device at a lower price. If so, this could signal a return to form for the brand.
