As suggested by previous information, the upcoming flagship device will feature a substantial 7,300mAh battery. This is a significant increase from the 6,000mAh battery found in the existing OnePlus 13 model. The improvements don't end there, as charging speeds are also being notably enhanced.
OnePlus has confirmed that the phone will support 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. To achieve the fastest charging speeds, users will need to use OnePlus's own charger and cable, as third-party options may result in slower charging times.
However, even the slower charging speeds are expected to surpass those of flagship phones from Samsung or Apple.
The OnePlus 15 offers more than just an upgraded battery. OnePlus 15 will feature a complete design overhaul, moving away from the circular camera layout used in previous models. Early glimpses of the redesigned phone have already surfaced, revealing that it will be available in multiple colors. | Image credit – OnePlus
Internally, a Geekbench listing indicates that the global version will include a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and 12GB of RAM. It will also come pre-installed with Android 16. | Image credit – Anvin/X
Changes are also expected for the display, with a reported 165Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling and animations very smooth. However, the resolution may be slightly reduced to 1.5K, compared to the 2K resolution of the OnePlus 13. While OnePlus hasn't officially announced any camera details, there are rumors of a triple 50MP rear camera setup.

The OnePlus 15 appears to be a significant upgrade over the current model, both in terms of internal specs and external design. The confirmed 7,300mAh battery makes it even more appealing, as very few flagship phones offer such a large battery.
For comparison, the recently released Xiaomi 17 has a smaller 7,000mAh battery, with the Pro version offering only a slightly larger 7,500mAh capacity. Apple and Samsung lag behind, with the iPhone 17 Pro Max having a 5,088mAh battery and the Galaxy S26 Ultra expected to maintain the S25 Ultra's 5,000mAh battery. | Image credit – OnePlus
