Oppo has denied Apple's accusations of corporate espionage.

Apple says that Oppo stole its trade secrets, the latter denies that claim. Who's in the right here? There's a very clear answer, actually.
Oppo has stated that there is no evidence linking the allegations to the employee's behavior while employed at Oppo.

Apple's complaint alleges that Chen Shi accessed private data late at night, three days before leaving the company. It also claims he moved these files to a USB drive the day before his departure.
Apple has presented considerable evidence against both Shi and Oppo.
Evidence suggests that Shi told his Apple colleagues he was returning to China to care for his parents. However, Shi relocated to an Oppo office in the U.S.
Apple also submitted to the court that Shi had been in communication with Oppo’s health division vice president. One message from Shi stated:
[I’ve been] reviewing various internal materials and doing a lot of 1:1 meetings in an effort to collect as much information as possible — will share with you all later.

Oppo’s vice president of health responded to Shi’s message with an “alright” and an emoji, which suggests awareness of Shi's activities.
The case will likely reveal more information in the coming months.
