Begin your path along the Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Battle Pass with a new deck featuring Mew ex . Advance through the Battle Pass to unlock booster packs, Collector Crates, Trainer Points, Trade Credits, cosmetics, and 15 additional cards that can be swapped into your deck!
Halfway through the Battle Pass, you’ll unlock a new deck centered around Sylveon ex . You can also earn 15 more cards that can be used to bling out this deck by the end of the Battle Pass—try to collect them all!
Let’s learn how to play these powerful decks in Pokémon TCG Live.
Mew ex’s Memory Helix Ability lets it use the attacks of any of your Benched Pokémon as long as it has the necessary Energy to use them. This gives you nearly limitless combinations of attacks you can mix and match as you like!

Try to use cards like Buddy-Buddy Poffin and Poké Pad to establish a Bench full of unevolved Basic Pokémon as soon as possible. Another good Basic target to grab with an early Ultra Ball or Dawn is Genesect ex, as its Metallic Signal Ability can add two in any combination of Steven’s Metang and Steven’s Metagross ex to your hand. Meowth ex is your go-to fallback if you find yourself without a Supporter card to play for the turn, as its Last-Ditch Catch Ability can fetch the perfect card for the job when played from your hand onto your Bench.
Combined with the Energy acceleration from Steven’s Metagross ex’s X-Boot Ability and from Prism Energy, Mew ex can pull off some powerful attacks:
While Steven’s Metagross ex’s Ability can normally only be used to power up your {P} and {M} Pokémon, Scramble Switch can help move the Energy attached with X-Boot to your new Active Pokémon, which is especially useful if you want to attack with Hydreigon ex or Mega Latias ex. Latios’s Lustrous Assist Ability can also help transfer Energy to your Mega Latias ex when it switches from your Bench to the Active Spot. This can be a good option if Mew ex’s 160 HP is a bit low and you still want to do a ton of damage. Just remember that Mega Latias ex will give up three Prize cards when it’s Knocked Out, compared to the two Prize cards Mew ex would award.
After mastering all of the tricks Mew ex has to offer, halfway through the Battle Pass you’ll unlock a kaleidoscopic Sylveon ex deck that is sure to brighten your day.
Sylveon ex’s Colorful Harmony does 50 damage for each different Basic Energy you have in play. If you have all eight types, the attack will do 400 damage!

If it’s your first turn, be sure to grab Fan Rotom. Its Fan Call Ability can only be used during your first turn and adds three {C} Pokémon with 100 HP or less from your deck to your hand. This can be a good way to find Eevee, Hoothoot, and Noctowl.
Speaking of Noctowl, its Jewel Seeker Ability can only be used while you have a Tera Pokémon like Eevee ex or Flareon ex in play, but when triggered, it can grab any two Trainer cards from your deck.
Try to attack with Flareon ex’s Burning Charge early in the game. Grabbing two different types of Energy with this attack is a good way to both fulfill the attack cost and power up the damage of Sylveon ex’s Colorful Harmony.
Another way to grab Energy from your deck is with Crispin, a Supporter card that can add a Basic Energy card to your hand and attach one of another type to one of your Pokémon. This card is also key to launching an attack with Flareon ex as soon as your first turn:
Finally, Glass Trumpet can attach two Basic Energy cards to your Benched {C} Pokémon while you have a Tera Pokémon in play, which is another good way to power up your Eevee and Eevee ex. Remember that neither Sylveon ex nor Flareon ex can have Energy attached this way, so be sure to use Glass Trumpet before evolving into one of them!
Finally, in the home stretch of the Battle Pass, you’ll unlock a plethora of booster packs, Trainer Points, Trade Credits, cosmetics, and Collector Crates.
Enjoy your new decks, cards, and Battle Pass, Trainers!
