Renders have leaked showing the Motorola Edge 70 in two colors, touting its very thin design.

Motorola’s next mid-ranger looks stunning in new renders, suggesting a much earlier premiere than anyone would’ve guessed.
The Motorola Edge 70 is seen in new renderings in Lily Pad and Gadget Gray colors, courtesy of YTECHB. The images show color highlights on the camera ring and Moto AI buttons. The Lily Pad version resembles the Moto X70 Air teased by Motorola in China, suggesting the Edge 70 could be its global version.
The renderings indicate a departure from the Edge 60's rounded edges and curved displays. The depicted phones feature a flatter frame, a flat display with a punch-hole design, and Dolby Atmos speaker branding on top.
Details about the camera specs are also visible. The ultra-wide camera may have a 50MP sensor with a 120º FOV, optical image stabilization, and a 2.0 micron-pixel size, likely achieved through pixel binning.
Given Motorola's release of Android 16 for older devices, it is expected to be included on the new device. While new Edge-series phones typically launch in the spring, this generation may arrive sooner, especially after the X70 Air's debut in China.
The Edge 70 aims to bring the super slim form factor to a more affordable price range, rather than directly competing with the Galaxy S25 Edge and iPhone Air. The success of this form factor hinges on user satisfaction with battery life.
