Rumored pricing for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 line in the US is expected to be expensive.

No big surprises here, just a lot of skepticism that Samsung's next-gen high-end tablets could compete with Apple's latest iPad Pros at these prices.
The details of the Galaxy S25 FE, Tab S11, and Tab S11 Ultra have largely been revealed already, and the expected specifications are not particularly groundbreaking.
For example, the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra are very similar to the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra from last year. The specifications and features are familiar, and a reliable source has leaked the US prices:
$799.99 for Tab S11 with 128GB storage;
$859.99 for 256GB Galaxy Tab S11;
$979.99 for Galaxy Tab S11 with 512GB storage;
$1,199.99 for Tab S11 Ultra with 256GB storage;
$1,319.99 for 512GB Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra;
$1,619.99 for Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra with 1TB storage.
The base Tab S11 is cheaper than the 12.4-inch Tab S10 Plus. The $799.99 starting price matches the 11-inch Galaxy Tab S9 from 2023, so the price remains unchanged two years later for the base 128GB Wi-Fi model.
The listed prices are for Wi-Fi-only models, and the 5G versions will cost extra. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra may not have a cellular version in the US, making price speculation pointless.
The base Tab S11 Ultra will likely cost about the same as the entry-level 13-inch iPad Pro (2024). The standard Galaxy Tab S11 will probably be a couple hundred dollars less than the Apple M4-powered iPad Pro 11. However, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor might not make it a worthwhile purchase.
The Dimensity 9400 is not weak, but it is slower than an Apple M4 or the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC in the OnePlus Pad 3.
However, the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra are still good products and will likely top the best Android tablet lists due to their screen quality and battery life relative to their thin and light designs.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra could be appealing at a lower price like $999.99, and Samsung commonly discounts their tablets. The Tab S10 Ultra recently had a $520 discount on the 1TB model.
Waiting for discounts on these iPad Pro alternatives is advisable, but trade-in offers may also be beneficial. More information should be available following the launch event.
