Rumors suggest Samsung is developing a larger version of its mid-range Galaxy Tab A11 tablet.

Samsung's most affordable new tablets of 2025 are undoubtedly inching closer to their launch and holding fewer and fewer secrets.
The Galaxy Tab A11, previously rumored to cost €199 in Europe and feature a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage, and optional 4G LTE, is now expected to start at Rs. 12,999 in India.
India is an important market for budget-friendly devices, so Samsung's competitive pricing for its iPad alternative is welcome. Rs. 12,999 is approximately $147, matching the 2023 launch price of the 8.7-inch Galaxy Tab A9.
This price will likely be for the base Wi-Fi-only model with 64GB of storage. An upgrade to 128GB is anticipated to cost an additional Rs. 5,000 (about $56).
The 128GB variant, reportedly priced at Rs. 17,999 ($203) in India, will also increase the RAM from 4GB to 8GB. Cellular-enabled versions are expected to cost Rs. 15,999 ($181) for the 4/64GB configuration and Rs. 20,999 ($237) for the 8/128GB configuration.
Samsung did not release the standard Galaxy Tab A9 in the US, but it does offer the 11-inch Tab A9 Plus for $220 and up. It is unknown if the A11 will be available in the US.
The Galaxy Tab A11 Plus, a new addition to the rumor mill, will reportedly include a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, 6GB of RAM, and potentially Android 16 at launch.
The Dimensity 7300 processor is considerably faster than the MediaTek Helio G99 expected in the standard Tab A11, which is used in phones like the Motorola Edge 60, Oppo Reno 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro.
With the Tab A11 possibly having up to 8GB of RAM, the base Galaxy Tab A11+ model may start with 6GB, with higher-end versions offering at least 8GB (or possibly 12GB).
If you can afford a high-end Galaxy Tab S11, Tab S10 FE, or similar device, the Tab A11 may not be of interest.
However, for those seeking an affordable Android tablet under $250, the Tab A11 series is expected to provide basic features like adequate screen quality, battery life, camera performance, and overall system performance, along with strong software support.
Samsung is known for providing better software updates for its affordable tablets than Lenovo and OnePlus. If the Tab A11 and A11+ are priced well and offer decent hardware, they could be a compelling value.
