Rumors suggest the Galaxy S26 Ultra will offer two major improvements that justify upgrading.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is going to build on what makes the Galaxy S25 Ultra exciting.
Rumors surrounding the Galaxy S26 Ultra have been addressed by reliable source Ice Universe, who reports that the device will continue to offer S Pen support. A newly released image shows the anticipated design of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which features more rounded edges.
Although it was expected that Samsung would keep the S Pen, it was uncertain if the phone would have a designated slot for it.
Ice Universe and Roland Quandt have also revealed details about the phone's camera system, which includes upgrades to three of the four rear sensors.
The primary 200MP camera is expected to have a wider F1.4 aperture, allowing 47 percent more light capture compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This should lead to better image quality, especially in low-light conditions.
The 10MP 3x sensor will be replaced by a new 12MP camera, the Samsung-made S5K3LD, which is a 1/3-inch unit previously used in Samsung's foldable and mid-range devices. The new sensor is slightly larger, which should allow it to gather additional information.
The 50MP 5x camera is also rumored to feature a larger F2.9 aperture, increasing its light-gathering capabilities by 38 percent.
Previous speculation suggests that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will use a higher-frequency version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite found in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Additionally, the phone is expected to be thinner and might include a camera bump, a departure from the current design.
Based on current information, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is poised to be a strong competitor against other flagship phones, especially with notable improvements expected for the Google Pixel 10 Pro and Apple iPhone 17 Pro.
