One method to eliminate visible screen elements that disrupt a full edge-to-edge display experience involves using under-screen cameras. However, this presents an engineering challenge, as multiple sensors must function from behind the pixels.

Although I have grown accustomed to the Dynamic Island and notches on iPhones and hardly see them, removing them from the screen could be quite beneficial. The technology must be reliable, as including a subpar under-display Face ID or selfie camera on a future iPhone would be pointless.
