The company pioneered the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip phones and is preparing a TriFold model.

However, the company seems unsure how to handle its traditional flagship products. The Galaxy S series, typically launched early each year, might be slightly delayed because Samsung only recently chose to discontinue the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge.

This uncertainty does not look promising for the Galaxy S26 series. The company seems to have spent much of the past year making branding decisions instead of developing the phones.

The company could emulate the Galaxy S20 FE, which was successful despite being developed at the last minute. However, the company may not be able to repeat that success.
