Samsung's One UI 8 update is rolling out to the Galaxy S23 series, Tab S10+, A55, and other devices.

It's getting extremely hard to keep up with Samsung's Android 16 updating pace for old phones and tablets, which is obviously a very good thing.
Samsung is rolling out its One UI 8 update, based on Android 16, to a variety of Galaxy devices. The update is currently available for several high-end phones from 2023, premium tablets, and a mid-range phone released in 2024.
The Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra, and S23 FE models have started receiving the Android 16 update with One UI 8 in South Korea. A global rollout is anticipated soon, similar to the Galaxy S24 series, which received the update in South Korea before expanding to Europe.
The Galaxy Quantum 5, a South Korea-exclusive device, is also being updated to Android 16 with One UI 8. This update suggests that the international Galaxy A55 may also soon receive the new OS.
In Europe, the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 are reportedly receiving One UI 8 updates after initial rollouts in Korea. The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus is also being updated in South Korea, while reports regarding the Tab S10 Ultra's update are inconsistent.
Samsung has exceeded expectations with its software support, surpassing previous update schedules. The Galaxy S23 family, Tab S10 models, and Galaxy A55 are expected to receive One UI 8 globally soon, followed by devices like the Galaxy A35, A26, A17, S22 series.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 are expected to be updated shortly, with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 to follow. Many Galaxy devices released in the last three years are expected to run the latest Android version before the end of the year.
