Blass believes the leak is beneficial, even though early adopters may be disappointed. The first foldable phone from Samsung had a difficult debut, and because the TriFold will be even more complex, purchasing the first-generation model will not be a sensible move.

However, tech enthusiasts are more concerned with being the first to use new form factors, so this will be disappointing for them.

The TriFold, which could also be called the Galaxy G Fold or Multifold 7, or even something completely different, will be unveiled at the APEC Summit next month. According to Bloomberg, the device will be on display behind glass, and no one will be permitted to touch it. It is expected to be available for purchase later this year.
