Spectrum Mobile is offering a new, competitively priced device repair plan.

The new Repair and Replacement Premium offers peace of mind that’s hard to beat
To assess the plan's market standing, a comparison with leading providers is helpful. Verizon’s Mobile Protect plan, for example, costs about $17 monthly for a single high-end smartphone. Despite having similar benefits, such as a $29 screen repair deductible, Spectrum's monthly cost is notably less. This makes Spectrum's plan a more economical option in a market where major carriers' monthly fees are typically in the mid-to-high teens.
This pricing strategy may be appealing to some users. Individuals worried about expensive repair costs or those who expect to need a battery replacement might see the low monthly fee and set deductibles as a sensible choice. While all insurance involves compromises, Spectrum’s pricing makes it more accessible.
For customers who may not require extensive coverage, Spectrum will still provide its initial $5/month Repair and Replacement plan. However, the new Premium tier aims to compete on value, giving consumers another option when protecting their devices.
