T-Mobile is making bill payments more rewarding for customers.

You can now apply for T-Mobile’s Visa credit card.
T-Mobile Visa enhances the user experience, providing additional travel and entertainment benefits. Spending with the card earns rewards that allow users to save on their monthly T-Mobile bill. According to André Almeida, President of Growth and Emerging Businesses at T-Mobile, customers are looking for rewards and value, and the T-Mobile Visa provides both. It gives customers VIP treatment from America’s Best Mobile Network.
Here is what T-Mobile customers receive with the new card:
Cardholders earn 2% in T-Mobile Rewards on all purchases, including groceries, utilities, and monthly plans. Rewards can be applied to T-Mobile bills or new devices.
Purchases at T-Mobile stores, including phones and accessories, earn 5% in rewards.
Eligible plans receive a $5 AutoPay discount per line (up to 8 lines), an offer exclusive to this card at T-Mobile.
There are no annual fees, foreign transaction fees, or hidden charges.
Additional bonuses for cardholders:
Discounts of up to 50% on select hotels and 45% on Pay Now car rentals booked via T-Mobile Travel.
A limited-time Shell Fuel Rewards promotion offers savings of 25 cents per gallon on Tuesdays through December 23.
Starting November 11, T-Mobile Tuesdays perks will be available in the T-Life app, beginning with a free movie ticket via Atom for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.
All T-Mobile Visa benefits are managed within the T-Life app, where users can monitor spending, track rewards, and apply credits to their T-Mobile bill. The card includes standard security features such as virtual card numbers, contactless chips, fraud protection, and lock/unlock options via the Capital One app.
The card addresses an issue created by T-Mobile.
This card addresses a problem T-Mobile created earlier in the year. Customers were required to switch to debit or bank AutoPay to maintain the $5 per-line discount, which frustrated those preferring credit cards for security or rewards.
Now, the discount can be regained by using T-Mobile’s credit card. Verizon also offers a Visa card with rewards focused on gas and groceries. The T-Mobile card seems designed to resolve the AutoPay issue while providing lifestyle perks.
The new Visa card could benefit T-Mobile customers who do not want to link their bank accounts for the AutoPay discount. The rewards are a positive addition, especially for those already invested in T-Mobile’s ecosystem.
T-Mobile Tuesdays users will also receive extra benefits with the Visa card.
These small advantages can build customer loyalty, a strategy T-Mobile has historically executed well by making customers feel valued for their continued patronage.
