T-Mobile is offering a free Motorola Razr.

The manufacturer's official US website offers this phone for $999.99, but T-Mobile is offering it for $0 starting today.

Certain conditions apply, which is typical for these types of carrier deals. Saving a thousand dollars is relatively easy, especially for a newly released device unavailable from Verizon, AT&T, or other US mobile networks.

To reduce the Razr Swarovski's price from $999.99 to nothing, you need to add a line on a qualifying plan. No trade-in or other steps are required. The Experience More and Experience Beyond plans are the only ones eligible for the full discount (as well as Go5G Plus and Go5G Next for existing customers), which is common.

Alternatively, trading in an eligible device in working condition will get you the same discount on your current plan (from the four options above) without opening a new line. The list of eligible trade-in devices is extensive, and includes the iPhone 12 Pro through iPhone 16, Samsung's entire Galaxy S10 family, the Z Flip 3, Z Fold 3, Galaxy Note 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 10 Pro, Google Pixel 6, Pixel 7, Motorola Razr+ (2023), and Razr+ (2024).
