The iPhone 17 Pro Max may offer a 2TB storage option, but it will be very expensive.

Do you really want to pay that much for the smartphone with the biggest available storage?
Apple has not increased iPhone 17 prices. The iPhone 17 Pro's base price is $1,099, matching the 256GB iPhone 16 Pro. The top-end iPhone 17 Pro Max costs more than the previous iPhone 16 Pro Max, but the new 1TB model is still $1,599.
Apple is the first large smartphone maker to offer a 2TB storage option. Other flagship phones like the Google Pixel 10 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra max out at 1TB. The iPhone Air also features a 1TB version, while the standard iPhone 17 does not exceed 512GB.
I've never understood the appeal of phones with massive storage. The only reason I would consider needing more than 256GB is if I began recording ProRes video on my phone. Otherwise, a combination of limited local storage and ample cloud storage suits me well.
