The OnePlus 15 will launch in the US on a specific date, but its global release is uncertain.

OnePlus exec says the OnePlus 15 is coming next month to global markets but leaves out key details.
The OnePlus 15 represents a total redesign, with improvements to every aspect of the device, according to Celina Shi, OnePlus Europe's CMO, in October 2025.
It is among the first smartphones to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. In addition, the 16GB model is among the first to include 10,667Mbps LPDDR5X Ultra+ RAM.
The OnePlus 15 highlights the company's focus on integrating AI into the user experience. The Alert Slider has been replaced by the Plus Key, initially seen on the OnePlus 13s. This customizable, AI-powered key provides quick access to functions like screenshots and the camera.
The OnePlus 15 debuts OxygenOS 16, the latest version of OnePlus's user interface, which combines AI with a focus on user experience.
OxygenOS 16 features an updated Mind Space, the company's AI locker for content analysis. Mind Space now integrates with Google's Gemini to enable actions based on the contents of your locker. In addition to storing on-screen content, Plus Mind functions as a context-aware "second brain," according to OnePlus.
This integration allows Gemini to access Mind Space information and use it with its LLM and real-time internet access, creating the industry’s first personalized AI with Gemini, according to Celina Shi, OnePlus Europe's CMO, in October 2025.
While the OnePlus 15 maintains the same megapixel count, it uses the in-house DetailMaxEngine imaging system to create clear and realistic images. The system merges multiple 12MP photos with one 50MP image to create a 26MP photo.
Compared to the OnePlus 13's 6fps, the OnePlus 15 can shoot at 10fps. Dual-exposure anti-blur technology is included for clearer photos of moving subjects.
Low-light photo quality is improved by the Clear Night Engine, which captures multiple brightness levels simultaneously for more natural results.
The OnePlus 15's design has been updated to highlight its improvements over the OnePlus 13. It will be available in Infinite Black, Sand Storm, and Ultra Violet.
According to Celina Shi, OnePlus Europe's CMO, in October 2025, the redesigned device with a symmetrical camera module is intended to communicate improved specifications and a better product experience.
Shi did not confirm if the global OnePlus 15 would feature a 165Hz display like the Chinese version, but noted that refresh rates and screen quality are a priority. The OnePlus 15 may face challenges in global markets without a large battery and competitive pricing.
The Chinese OnePlus 15 includes a 7,300mAh battery, but this silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery may not be available on the global version due to the technology's limited availability in the US. Similarly, the Chinese price is roughly $563, but the US price is expected to be at least $899, the OnePlus 13's starting price.
Additionally, the OnePlus 15 may have smaller camera sensors, which explains the focus on DetailMaxEngine and its promotion as a gaming phone.
Without a 165Hz screen in the US, the OnePlus 15 may be a hard sell in international markets, appealing only to a specific audience, with the global version potentially inferior to the Chinese version.
Celina Shi, OnePlus Europe's CMO, stated in October 2025, that the redesign represents a transformation, with improvements to the device's internal and external components.
