The Pixel Watch 4 has some impressive features, according to a reviewer after a week of use.

The Pixel Watch 4 is Google's best smartwatch yet, and it's not even close.
Having completed my review, I've gained additional positive impressions of Google's new smartwatch.
The design, featuring a domed display, is appealing and feels good in hand. The rounded glass enhances the user experience. Unlike curved phone screens, the Pixel Watch 4's domed screen feels increasingly natural with use. Swiping and interacting with the interface is satisfying, a design choice I hope other smartwatches embrace.
The screen's brightness and clarity in bright outdoor conditions are impressive. The 3,000-nit display is useful for quickly checking information without straining your eyes.
While battery life is a key feature for me, with the OnePlus Watch 3 leading in that area, the Pixel Watch 4 is compelling for other reasons. Batteries can be recharged, but features cannot be added later.
Like many, I mainly use a smartwatch for notifications, sleep tracking, health metrics, and contactless payments. The Pixel Watch 4 excels in these areas and is enjoyable to use. After the initial excitement of exploring its features, usage becomes more relaxed, potentially improving battery life.
Initially, I was constantly adjusting the Wear OS interface. The device lasted a day with AOD on and longer with it off, slightly less than the advertised figures of 30 and 40 hours, respectively.
Once I stopped focusing on apps and watchfaces and only used the Pixel Watch 4 for notifications, the battery life improved significantly. With the always-on display off, I used about 50% of the battery per day.
While less than the OnePlus Watch 3, this is superior to the Apple Watch Series 11 or Galaxy Watch 8, both of which require daily charging.
The Pixel Watch 4 is more convenient in this regard, thanks to its dual-chipset design, inspired by OnePlus.
Wear OS 6 with Material 3 looks great. It appears better on the watch than on Pixel phones because its simple interface is well-suited to the design language.
The widgets look good, the interface has nice color combinations, and the smoothness represents a significant improvement, especially compared to earlier versions of Wear OS.
Now that my review is complete, will I continue using the Pixel Watch 4? While I prefer the OnePlus Watch 3, I would choose the Pixel Watch 4 over other Wear OS devices.
Google's smartwatch division is on the right track.
