The Vivo X300 Pro's camera capabilities, particularly its zoom, have received high marks.

It's all about the zoom, and the Vivo X300 Pro definitely delivers.
In the global market, many manufacturers are improving camera photography, including Vivo, which has collaborated with Zeiss again.
Vivo recently introduced its X300 Pro camera flagship, a Chinese-made camera phone that seeks to push the limits of mobile photography.
Similar to the Vivo X200 Pro and X200 Ultra, the X300 Pro combines capable hardware and software to potentially deliver some of the best image quality from a phone in late 2025.
The primary camera uses Sony's LYT-828 sensor, featuring the HF HDR (High Frequency HDR) function, which enables a dynamic range of 17 stops with minimal noise. The Oppo Find X9 Pro also uses this sensor for its main camera. The ultrawide and front cameras are also 50MP, utilizing Samsung sensors.
The 200MP telephoto lens is a key feature, employing a custom Samsung HPB sensor developed for the Vivo X300 Pro.
It delivers 3.5X optical zoom at f/2.7 and has a sensor size of 1/1.4-inch. This sensor should provide improved sharpness and dynamic range when zooming, compared to other camera phones.
Vivo's color science and feature-rich camera app enhance the hardware.
The Vivo X300 Pro scored over 150 points in camera testing. It competes well against rivals, particularly excelling in zoom camera performance.
The main camera on the Vivo X300 Pro creates images with true-to-life colors. The phone avoids unnaturally vivid scenes, instead capturing realistic and appealing shots, unless the user enables the Vivid camera mode.
Low-light image quality is also notable. The phone delivers natural-looking nightscapes, avoiding overexposure.
The Vivo X300 Pro has the best zoom of all phones tested, including the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and the Oppo Find X8 Ultra.
Zoom shots offer detail at various zoom levels, even at 100X in good lighting. Colors are good, with minimal overprocessing or excessive HDR.
The ultrawide camera is also competent. The 50MP sensor produces images with detail in the corners, minimal distortion, and a color palette resembling a DSLR. The only drawback is a slightly lower sharpness in the center, where finer details may be oversharpened.
The selfie camera is effective, transferring detail into JPEG files. The dynamics and color science are good, resulting in natural-looking selfies.
Videos are satisfactory but represent one of the weaker aspects of the camera. Dynamics are acceptable, but the phone may struggle with extreme highlights or shadows. Detail is great, especially on the zoom telephoto lens, making it suited for long zoom videos.
The Vivo X300 Pro features an excellent camera.
While not the top performer in testing, its overall performance exceeds the sum of its individual components.
The zoom camera stands out, suitable for long zooms, macro photography, and portraits.
The other cameras are capable, completing a camera system that can deliver impressive results.
